Fall-o-ween Day 7

Happy to say I am back from the Funny Farm.
I was really glad to get out of there. I'm telling ya...that horse really could use a shower.

Welcome to Day 7 of the Quilt Designer's Fall-o-ween Blog Hop.

Today's featured designer is Teri from Whisicals.
I can't wait to see what she has to offer, I so love her style.
Hop on over to her blog and check it out.

Today's topic is gatherings.
Fall is a time I like to get out in the country
to gather the goods found in the ditches.
You can find all sorts of interesting, colors, shapes and textures.

Various grasses.

Pretty blooming things.

Bittersweet.

Little tiny daisy like flowers.

Interesting shapes and textures.

Cattails, I love cattails.

Bright colored leaves, in shades of golds....

and shades of reds.

Milkweed pods. Although interesting,

I left these in the ditch as I did not like

the looks of those scary red bugs.

Buckeye.

Acorns.
The squirrels in our yard have also been very
busy scurrying around gathering and hiding
their winter supply of nuts.
This little guy has stopped to play with his....acorns.

Now hop on along to the other designer's blog to see if they have had gatherings or if they have gathered things.
Comment on all 10 blogs and be eligible for our grand prize.

GE Designs, Pieces of My Heart, Atkinson Designs, Pat Sloan, Anka's Treasures,
New Leaf Stitches, Whimsicals, Miss Rosies,
Rosebud's Cottage, Linda Lum DeBono.

When you finish your projects take a picture.
Use this link to post the pictures on Flickr for all of us to see.

Tomorrow's featured designer will be Carrie from Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.
The topic tomorrow will be Traditions.

I hope you can take a drive out in the country to see what interesting things you can gather.

See you soon.

From my heart,

Sandy
