Myself and 19 other Moda designers (see links at end of post) will be participating in the blog hop.
Lissa Alexander - Moda's Director of Marketing has challenged each of us to make a pillow that describes us. It can be our design process, our history of textiles or something that makes us happy. Lissa has also asked us to answer some intriguing questions.
The first designer is Aneela Hoey. Annela is a new Moda designer.
I have not yet met her but I certainly am looking forward to meeting her. She lives across the pond so I probably will not get to meet her unless she comes to market. But thanks to the world wide web we can all easily hop the pond and visit her blog. I can't wait to see what she has designed.
When I think of February I think of my favorite color - red.
My sister recently did a blog on how she is a sucker for anything mini. We are sisters I also am a sucker for anything mini. A couple of days before she posted about minis I had purchased these mini canvas boards.
Aren't they adorable? I bought all three sizes - 2" square, 3" square and 2 1/2" X 3 1/2". I also bought the mini easel to display my pictures.
I am going to try to paint one mini red or pink picture every day of the hop - yep that is 20 pictures! TRY is the key word.
Promise not to hate me if I fall short.
I have titled today's painting LBD.
I know what you are thinking that is not "a little black dress".
No it is not… but it is "a little beautiful dress".
Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see the painting of the day and link up with the fabulous duo at Blackbird Designs.
