I said I would post my list of fabric lines and some Moda/Sandy Gervais history today.
Unfortunately for you, but great for me, daughter Abby came home for a spur of the moment visit.
I am going to spend the weekend doing things with Abby instead of blogging.
Today's featured designer is Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings.
Lisa's thing is wool. She does retail shows and her booth is always
full of wool, with tons of samples.
Do you think Lisa's pillow will have some wool?
Hop on over to her blog to see the pillow of the day.
Some people do not like to work with wool.
They find it too itchy.
I am happy that wool does not make me itch.
I like to sew and wear wool clothing.
I like to do wool appliqué projects.
You can find my wool projects here.
In order to have wool, you need sheep.
I have chosen a sheep as the subject of today's painting.
I have titled today's painting…
Itch'n
Itch'n to do some wool stitch'n.
Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see the painting of the day and link up with Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts.

ReplyDeleteNow to purchase some wool to do that Stitch'n.
lovely sheep with the polka dots.. I can't resist a polka dots design :)
ReplyDeletehave fun with your daughter
What a beautiful daughter you have!
ReplyDeleteA polka dotted sheep. I think it wants to live at Camille's house :)
ReplyDeleteDaughters definitely trump anything! My youngest is coming home for her birthday in a couple of weeks, Yay!
ReplyDeleteLove the little lamb. I cherish a lambswool knitted scarf my mom bought me on their trip to Ireland/Scotland. Very warm and soft.
Abby has the BEST glasses. Hope you had fun.
ReplyDeleteFamily always takes priority over blogging so have fun!
ReplyDeleteOur daughter is home from college for a long weekend and we've been having a lot of fun! Took her shopping today and she only found one dress.
Tomorrow we are going to the local needlework and then to a quilt shop. I think she's going to cost me more tomorrow! Yes, she'll spend more on needlework/quilt/bead supplies than on clothes. :-)
Cynthia
OH yes, family always trumps sewing and blogging! My daughter is home from college for the three day weekend, you can bet I am staying away from my machines when she is here. She is out with friends right now so I am doing some catching up.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the polka dotted sheep. :)
Beautiful daughter... and she has great glasses also!
ReplyDeleteLove the lamb picture... we raise lambs and they are such funny, smart, crafty creatures.
Thank you for the way that you have promoted the blog hop. When I'm not sure where to go, I come to your blog to see what you have to say and to see your paintings.
The painting is adorable!! Love the glasses your daughter is wearing ... must shop the same eye glass maker you do? Beautiful!!
