Moda Country Fair Blog Hop Day 6

Before we start the blog hop for the day let us take a moment to pause and remember those lost on 9/11/2001.

9/11 memorial at West Michigan Healing Field at Cannonburg Ski Area.
A flag for every victim of 9/11.

It is day 6 of the Moda Country Fair Blog hop.

The featured designer today is Rachel Brenchley of Basic Grey
Stop on by their blog to see the FREE project of the day.

The quote of the day is:
The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it.
And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.
John F. Kennedy.

Don't forget to leave a comment on MY POST (day one of the hop) to be added to the drawing for my give away.
You must leave your comment anytime today before 10:00 PM Central time to be eligible to win one of the prizes

  1. Today is a great day to honor the firemen from 9/11 and the firemen fighting the Texas fires--and maybe still doing rescues out East. I think it is time to provide a quilt to let them know how much they are appreciated. Thanks for the inspiring start to your day.

  3. As I sit here watching people who experienced the attack first hand, I am overwhelmed with emotion and pride. I mourn with those who lost loved ones and am so proud of the nature of my fellow American's to be brave, courageous, and gracious in the face of such devastation. God Bless!
