Moda Country Fair Blog Hop Day 2

Yesterday there were some problems with my link. I now have a new link. Go back to my blog and get the new link from there or click here to download the project.

Welcome to Day 2 of the Moda Country Fair Blog Hop.

Today's featured designer is Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.
Hop on over and see what FREE project she has to offer.

The quote of the day is:
"All I really need is love, but a little chocolate bunny now and then doesn't hurt!"

Lucy Van Pelt

Have you ever wondered why we eat chocolate bunnies at Easter time?
Since there are more than 60 million chocolate bunnies sold in America every year,
I thought it was worth investigating why we even have chocolate bunnies to begin with.
It is said the celebration of spring originated with a celebration of Eostre (Easter), the ancient goddess of fertility.
And what animal is known for being extremely fertile? Bunnies!
Passed down from generation to generation,
Bunnies and Easter have remained synonymous with each other,
so it was only natural to create chocolate in the image of this
everlasting symbol of spring and fertility, and thus the Chocolate Bunny was born.

How do you eat your chocolate bunny?
Ears first, or tail first?
Seventy-six percent of Americans think the ears should be eaten first.
Five percent think bunnies should be eaten feet first,
while 4% favor eating the tail first.
(I'm not sure what the other 15 percent do??)

Tomorrows featured designers will be Barb and Mary

of Me and My Sister Designs.
Not sure what their post is all about
but I bet before you are done reading their post you will be laughing.

Wishing you a chocolate bunny kind of day.

From my heart,
Sandy
