Welcome to my day of the Moda Spell It With Fabric blog hop.
Before I begin with the hop I would like to announce that our website is finally up and running.
Yippee!
And we are now offering some of our patterns as downloadable PDFs.
Now on with the hop.
As I was reading through the email explaining this hop, the letter assignments were all making sense, A - American Jane, B - Bunny Hill, C- Cottonway. You would think that I might get an S for Sandy, a G for Gervais, or perhaps a P for Pieces or maybe even a H for heart. I kept scrolling. After I passed S I assumed that I had inadvertently been left off the list. Wait, there I am. Near the bottom...the letter U. The letter U! U have got to be kidding me!
I immediately wanted to take a U-turn on this hop.
I must be Upfront with you, I think it is Unfair. Oh my gosh I am drawing a complete blank on words that begin with U.
I immediately began to stress. I thought I might even Upchuck!
I stewed about it until I gave myself an Ulcer.
I finally gave myself an Ultimatum. Make the best of the letter U or leave my blog Unfinished.
Go here to get the letter U.
Go here to get the letter U.
It was an Uphill battle but I came up with a few things.
First to come to mind is United Notions, a great place to buy all of your quilting needs.
My applique needles have Ultra microscopic eyes so I use my threader a lot.
If you order notions from United Notions, UPS just may deliver the box.
I love the UPS man. What's not to love?
He brings me brown boxes with blue tape filled with fabric and smiley face boxes filled with shoes.
Now for some known or Unknown facts about me.
My right hand is Useful. My left hand is Useless.
I was Unsuccessful at music. I cannot sing, dance or play the Ukulele.
I’m not fond of Unicorns.
I like things that are Unique.
I don’t believe in UFOs - but I have never seen one… so that could change.
I like the quilt block Union Square.
So much so that I designed a table mat using the block.
It is one of our new PDF patterns.
Go here to order the pattern.
Go here to see all of our PDF patterns.
Judging by the many comments on the previous blogs, I would say it is Unanimous - this hop is the Ultimate in alphabet fun.
I made a little project using my letter U. I had a vowel but I needed a consonant. So I borrowed a R from Stephanie.
Go here for the FREE download of this little project. The download is only the applique pattern for the sun and the word my. Use the blog letter downloads for the letters U and R.
No blog hop would be complete without prizes and I must say the prizes are Uber.
To win a prize you must leave a comment on this post.. Any type of comment will do - like what is your favorite letter, your favorite quilt block - anything you might like to comment on is fine with me.
I will announce the winners on the last day of the hop which is February 28.
Don't forget to check out our new PDF patterns. Many of them are Charm Pack patterns.
Fat Quarter Shop just happens to be having 20 percent off Charm Packs this week.
Do forget to drop by and check out Thimbleblossoms and Sweetwater blogs as they are blogging today too.
Up to blog tomorrow are Venessa, Malka and Blackbird designs.
Don't forget to leave a comment!
From my heart,
Sandy
