Moda Country Fair Blog Hop Day 27 and the Last Day

Hello and welcome to day 27, the last day of the Moda Country Fair Blog Hop.

Today's featured designer is
Liz of Liz Scott Designs.
Hop on over to her blog to see what she has designed.

The quote of the day is a long one - but worth reading.
Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.
Robert Fulghum

A Crayola Bomb - now there's an idea Mr. President.
If only he read my blog.

From My heart,
Sandy

  4. I have loved stopping by your blog each and every morning for my five minutes of inspiration. Your quotes have been wonderful and just when I thought you couldn't find a better one from the days before you came up with this one. If only the world would take your advice.

  12. I kindly challenge you to send crayons, or other supplies, to children who dodge IEDs on their way to school.

I send supplies weekly. All that is required is a point of contact and some discount shopping. :0)

I pay 90 cents per notebook, less than $4 for hundreds of pages of construction paper, $2.30 per 60 pack of pens and Crayola's lowest bulk price.

Thank you for the wonderful blog. Each and every day I would visit and read the thought for the day. I am a huge fan of all your fabric. I can't tell you how many quilts I have made with your lines over the years. I have the latest fall pumpkin/flowers wall hanging in my living room right now. You are a true inspiration. I love the crayon idea, one can't help but smile when they have a new box of crayons. Thanks again!
