You two look as fun and happy today as 37 years ago. Congratulations! My husband and I just celebrated 39 years in August. We had brown tuxes at our wedding, too, with pink shirts!
Congratulations, Sandy, and best wishes for another 37 more! I love how your sister posts on your blog. I would love to see a big ole family picture, with all the double cousins. Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary, We certainly hitting the November with all our wedding anniveraries. I love the wedding dresses of the past they never date I think probably because the bride and groom set the garments off.
Wow its cool to see someone else who got married the year they were born too hahaha...I know lame humor :) The reason I say that is you don't look old enough to have been married that long :0) My DH & I celebrated our 30 anniversary on the 8th and lots of folks have said 'ah you don't look old enough to have been married that long' hence the year of birth remark.
A little intro: My is Sarah and I came across your blog from The Noble Wife and I came across her from another? not sure which. Anyways hi from Hope Mills, NC which is just outside of the Fort Bragg Military Base ;0)
I have always had an interest in art and sewing. My mother taught me how to sew at a young age. In high school I made my own clothes and made greeting cards for my friends. Later on I made cards for my boyfriend, who later became my husband. On the advice of my high school counselor I did not pursue a career in art. I was told that an "A" in high school art does not make you an artist. In 1988 I set out to prove that counselor wrong (or right) and started a greeting card company, " My Dream Designs." In 1992 I combined my love of art and sewing skills and the pattern company "Pieces From My Heart" was born. In spring of 1994, I attended my first international Quilt Market in St. Louis, where I was discovered by Moda Fabrics. Many fabric lines later, I am thrilled to be designing fabric for Moda. Designing fabric allows me to work with different color pallets, which is my favorite part of designing. I reside in Algona, Iowa with my husband Bruce. We have two grown children, Anthony and Abby. Pieces From My Heart Books and Patterns are available at your local quilt shop or go to www.piecesfrommyheart.net

• Eating is one of my favorite past-times - especially Chocolate. I once was addicted to miniature Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. (I have been clean since March.)
• My sister is married to my husband's brother. (That makes our children double cousins.)
